The allegations against Democrat Matt Dababneh are serious, credible, and disturbing. The same is true for former Assemblymen Raul Bocanegra and Roger Hernandez.
Unfortunately, local tax raiser Sharon Quirk-Silva has accepted nearly $35,000 from the three during her career, and today the Republican Party of Orange County calls on her to return or donate the money she received from these abusers to charity.
Sadly, truth of the matter is, she has not even called on Dababneh to resign because that would eliminate the Democrat Super Majority. She is choosing to protect her ability to raise your taxes again instead of protecting women from abusers like Dababneh.
We're committed to sending Sharon Quirk-Silva into an early retirement, but special interests in Sacramento will make sure she has a fully funded campaign.
