To Huntington Park: What We the People Want

Since August, 2015, citizens within the city of Huntington Park and throughout the greater Southern California region have protested the city council's decision to appoint two illegal aliens to two city commissions.

One key group in these protests, We the People Rising, has connected with community interests, citizens throughout the country fed up with the lack of enforcement.

One key activist leading the fight against illegal immigration, Mark Mendlovitz of Beverly Hills, CA, asked me an upfront question:

What is the endgame here? What are your goals?

What do "We the People" and "We the People  Rising" want?

1. We want the Huntington Park City Council to rescind the appointments of two illegal aliens to city commissions.

2. We want to remove the rogue city council members who voted to permit this outrageous travesty and flagrant violation of state and federal law.

3. We want to send the message, clear and convincing, that no city should ever think about appointing two illegal aliens to city commissions or in any other public capacity. Cities are for citizens, city commissions are for both, and anyone elected to a city office must serve citizens, not illegal aliens.

These are not gross demands. These are merely expectations which come with existing in any country based on the rule of law, not the demagoguery of the few at the expense of everyone else.

Huntington Park residents have shared their outrage with me about the city council's immoral and offensive appointments. Reports around the country, and readers learning about this insidious undermining of national sovreignty and individual liberty are fighting back, voicing their protest.

To the Huntington Park City Council, you are notice. We will not stop. We will hound you on social media. We will inform readers, activists, concerned citizens everywhere. You will not be left alone until you rescind the appointment of the two illegals Francisco Medina and Julian Zatarain, step down from office, and let the whole country know that such lawless actions will not go unchecked and unpunished.
