Popcorn: Dem v. Dem Fight in San Diego

The California Democratic Party has faced some growing conflicts over the past two years.
Moderate Democrats, per the Sacramento Bee, have derailed a large part of Governor Brown's Big Green agenda.
Moderate vs. Liberal -- where have we heard this dynamic before?
Much of the time, the press focuses on this deep divide among Republicans.
This fight is now eating up the Democratic Party, especially in California.
Termed out Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins is running for state senate, fighting against current state senator Marty Block.

State Senator Marty Block (D-San Diego)

This move has sent shudders throughout the state party.
The latest eblast from Basil Kimbrew and the Friends of the African-American caucus released the latest eblast:
OUR CHOICE

Let me be very clear, the California Friends of the African American Supports Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins
 for
State Senate

-Political Chef Basil-

Things can only get better for the California Republican Party, now that President Barack Obama has so hurt his brand, and forced so many working class, family oriented Democrats to rethink their party affiliation.
This news is nothing but good for conservatives and fiscally prudent voters who want accountability not stupidity in Sacramento.
Big Business Democrats and their Big Government progressive peers are going at it.
Republicans have more reasons to rejoice.
Let the games begin.
