Walker Signs Pro-Life Legislation

Unlike the Supreme Court of the United States, and the numerous left-leaning partisans and interest groups around the country, pro-life advocates and social conservatives like Walker have recognized the stunning power of technology not only to reveal the origins of life within a mother’s womb, but the stunning capacity for pre-natal lives to feel pain, to communicate with the mother, and to feel pain. Even atheists who were pro-choice have become pro-life because of the revelations of life’s intricacies in an unborn baby, from the point of conception until birth.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker: Pro-Life

Walker is following the adage of this quote: “The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life. . .” This statement came not from a religious conservative or a Republican, but liberal Democratic US Senator Hubert Humphrey of Minnesota.

The discussion in the Wisconsin legislature over the pro-life bill brought forth heated concerns from both sides. Lawmakers read letters from constituents, and some of them shared the pain of experiencing an abortion in their own lives. No one diminishes the painful issues connected with terminating a life. The bill would ensure that unborn children would not suffer pain.

Governments exist to protect human life, including from conception. Allowing for exceptions in exigent circumstances is acceptable, but after twenty weeks, abortion should be safe, legal, and very rare.

I applaud Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s decision to sign off on a bill which would prevent an abortion of a pregnancy after twenty weeks.
