Judge Gregory Pollack's Perverse Ruling

In a recent Fox 11 News Report, San Diego Judge Gregory Pollack is ordering that a battered wife pay her abusive ex-husband alimony.

This is perversion of the law.

Though a judge is not honored to do justice, necessarily, he is bound to interpret the law of the land, and there is no law which forces a spouse to remunerate the other divorced partner in the event that one has perpetrated reprehensible abuse on the other.

This is corruption of the legal process.

When a woman suffers sexual assault at the hands of her husband, she has no choice but to break of such evil bondage:

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

"That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

"So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

"For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

"For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

"For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

"This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church."

"Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband." (Ephesians 5:25-33)

A man who does not even his wife's body, in my opinion, commits fornication in a spiritual sense, and therefore the wife has ever right before God to break free of the marriage.

I hope that the woman who is currently been so scarred and now disrespected by the legal system will be able to achieve a just outcome for herself through appeal.
